Juan Pablo Araneda

 As a journalist, I would like to take a course of sports journalism because it is the area of my career that I like the most at the moment. Also because I could specialize more as a journalist and it would help me to have more job possibilities. The subjects that I would like to study in the course are perhaps the history of sports, tactical analysis of some sports, etc.  I would like to study abroad. I researched the places where they offer sports journalism courses and in Spain specially there are many universities that have it. I would also enjoy living in a country like a Spain. Obviously I would prefer to study on campus because I could learn about the other culture if I study abroad and understand the course better. It could be an experience that makes me mature as a person and as a student.

 Since I remember starting to watch soccer, there was one player that always caught my attention. His name is Charles Aranguiz. He was born in Puente Alto in a family with limited resources. His mother motivated him to play soccer since he was a child starting his career in the neighborhood club. Then he went to the north alone to play for Cobreloa. He did well and was signed by Colo Colo. After that he went to play in Argentina and returned to Chile where he had his best moment with Universidad de Chile in 2011. Currently plays in Germany in Bayer Leverkusen and is one of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga. It is impossible not to rememeber his performances with the national team in the two Copa America that Chile won. Charles Aranguiz is an idol for me because his life is an example of self-improvement and how to achieve everything you want.
